Our Newcastle Sixth Form College students have safely arrived in Nice, France, beginning an exciting new chapter in their international experience. On day 1 of their journey, they enjoyed exploring sights and historic landmarks, beginning their cultural and professional experience.

The students got hands-on experience in professional environments, engaging with local businesses and organisations to develop valuable work-based skills to benefit their future careers.

This remarkable opportunity is part of the Turing Scheme, which aims to equip students with intercultural understanding, independence, and employability skills by offering work placements abroad. We are proud to see our students representing NSFC enthusiastically and confidently, embracing new experiences and stepping outside their comfort zones.

We look forward to following their journey, hearing about their adventures, and watching how they grow personally and professionally throughout this international experience.
