Assessment
The assessment includes three components.
Component 1 (35%) covers Media Products, Industries, and Audiences, examining media language, representation, and contexts in forms like advertising, music videos, or newspapers.
Component 2 (35%) provides an in-depth study of three media forms, analysing set products such as TV, magazines, and websites.
Component 3 (30%) involves creating a media text based on research and a brief, accompanied by a statement of aims and intentions.
